Scanguard Setup

Start Menu

Open the Windows Start Menu by either clicking on the Start Menu icon or tapping the Windows icon on your keyboard.

Search for Scanguard

Type Scanguard in your Windows search bar, under the Apps tab.

Scanguard Application

In the right-hand pane of the Search Menu, find Uninstall and click on it.

Installed Apps

Scroll down the Apps list, until you find Scanguard and click on the three horizontal dots to bring up a drop-down menu.

Click on Uninstall in the drop-down menu.

Uninstall Confirmation

Click Uninstall again to confirm that you wish to uninstall Scanguard.

Allow this App to make changes to your device

To allow Scanguard to be uninstalled, you must allow the app access to do so. Click Yes to proceed with the uninstallation.

Scanguard Uninstall

Click on Uninstall to start the uninstallation process.

Restart Computer

Click Yes to complete the uninstallation process of Scanguard.

Scroll down the Apps list, until you find Scanguard and click on it.

Once you have Scanguard selected, click on Uninstall/Change.

To allow Scanguard to be uninstalled, you must allow the app access to do so. Click Yes to proceed with the uninstallation.

Restart Computer

Click Yes to complete the uninstallation process of Scanguard.

Open Scanguard

Double click on the Scanguard icon on your desktop or go to Applications and open it from there.

At the top of your Mac, you will see the Menu Bar. Find Scanguard, and click on it.

Uninstall Scanguard

From the drop-down menu, click on Uninstall Scanguard.

Confirmation of Uninstall

To confirm that you wish to uninstall Scanguard, click OK.

Scanguard is Trying to Modify a System Extension

To allow this process to happen, please enter your Mac's User Credentials.

Scanguard Wants to Make Changes

To allow this process to happen, please enter your Mac's User Credentials again.

Uninstallation Successful

Click OK in the newly opened Uninstall Scanguard window.

Find Scanguard

Locate the Scanguard application on your device.

Touch

Press and hold the Scanguard application.

Remove

A menu will open, displaying multiple options. Tap on Uninstall.

Accept

Tap OK to confirm.

Uninstallation Successful

A notification will display somewhere on your device, notifying you that Scanguard has been uninstalled.
